I first met with Adam at a restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he shared his idea with me to propose to his then girlfriend at sunset in Zanzibar and have me there to capture the moment. After toying with some ideas (like me hiding in the bushes with a long lens), we agreed the best bet would be that I take them on a photographic exploration of the island. So we spent the day together driving around the island to all sorts of awesome locations where I shot them, enjoying life in paradise. We ended the day with drinks at sunset where I slipped the ring to Adam to propose. A few months later we met at their home in Johannesburg where we did an amazing engagement shoot pillow fight and some photos in a nearby park, and then a few more months later their gorgeous wedding at a venue near Pretoria..
